The Girl from Michigan
Era: Summer of Freshman Year (College), 2011
Boy meets Girl on Tinychat.
Boy recognizes Girl from her notorious video.
Girl wasn’t really surprised.
Girl thought to herself, “Oh great, another person who saw my video.”
When Boy saw the video, he thought to himself, “This poor girl. I wish I could just swoop in and save her. I want to be her superman.”
Boy eventually got to know Girl.
Girl is pretty damn cool.
Boy thought Girl was pretty cool friend.
As time went on, Boy found MANY traits he loved in Girl.
She was kind and considerate, intelligent and creative.
Just so many things that were amazing about her.
Boy just slowly caught feelings.
They slowly grew stronger.
Boy told Girl.
Feelings weren’t reciprocated.
That didn’t crush Boy’s feelings.
Boy’s feelings don’t go away that easy.
Like Girl is perfect.
Dancing, Art, Sarcasm, Light Skin, Dark Hair and so much more.
Boy was in LOVE.
Well he wasn’t sure.
So he asked his mom.
But instead of asking directly, “How do I know if I’m in love?”
He asked, “What made you marry my father?”
The answer to that will be answered next story.
But Girl is a fantastic girl and Boy hopes she’s all right.
Girl deserves an amazing person to be with her.
But Boy is not that person for her.
Girl was perfect for who Boy thought he was.
But Boy had no idea what he was in for.
Girl, you’re probably reading this, stay beautiful and never change.
